VIKCHEM: Innovation for Nation Since 1988
Vikram Power Technologies Private Limited — commercially known as VIKCHEM — was founded in 1988 in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, with a single mission: to manufacture world-class cable accessories in India for India. Thirty-eight years later, that mission has expanded into a 200+ person organisation that supplies heat shrink termination kits, jointing kits, composite polymer insulators, power cable accessories and touch proof termination kits to 1000+ clients across India and 15+ countries.
Our Journey: 1988 to 2026
1988 — Foundation VIKCHEM was established in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, by Sh. Netar Parkash Bali — starting with low-voltage cable accessories for local industrial clients.
1990s — Product Expansion Expanded into medium voltage heat shrink termination and jointing kits for 11kV networks. Built relationships with state electricity boards across North India.
2000s — ISO Certification and Scale Achieved ISO 9001 certification. Expanded factory capacity and product range to cover 1.1kV to 36kV. Began supplying Indian Railways and major PSUs.
2010s — Polymer Insulators and National Presence Launched composite polymer insulator range for 11kV to 400kV. Built national distribution network. Achieved ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
2020s — ZeD Gold and Global Exports Earned Government of India's prestigious ZeD Gold (Zero Defect Zero Effect) certification. Expanded exports to 15+ countries including the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. Participated in ELECRAMA 2025, MEE Dubai 2025, Nigeria Energy 2025 and other international exhibitions.
